ACL: Day 2 and 3

Waiting for the music

Old 97s

GJ and Downtown Austin

Austin City Limits was AMAZING! By the end of the third day we were tired, our feet hurt, and we were pretty much broke. It was worth it though. The event can be a bit overwhelming but we made the best of it. Any vacation is like that really. Just go with the flow and do not stress over the little things like extremely hot Texas weather.

Anyways, for days 2 and 3 our favorite bands were The Old 97s, We Go To 11, Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band, Beck, and Silversun Pickups.

What we loved best about ACL is that we got to meet a ton of people. We meet people from just about every corner on the world! It really is amazing how far people are willing to travel for this event and to be honest, we would too. (Luckily, we didn’t have to travel as far.)

On the last day, we actually did not stay the whole time. We thought it would be nice just to relax and take in the sites. Downtown Austin is just so beautiful. We saw the parks, all the pretty buildings, and all the bars on 6th street. It was a really nice way to end our vacation.

This was our first year at ACL but it won’t be our last. We had way too much fun, gain so many friends, and got a lot of cool stuff to give it up… but we can wait another year before we try that again. Our feet still hurt.
